Pingree’s Home Business, L.L.C. Puppy Contract The purchasing of a new puppy should (if possible) be a commitment for the life of your dog. Upon sale of this puppy she/he is guaranteed to be of sound health and is guaranteed for a period of 72 hours from the purchase or arrival, if for some reason you suspect illness during that time please have your pet vet checked. If there is some illness found, I the seller, will reimburse you for the expenses concerning this illness but not in excess of the amount you paid for your puppy. A doctors note will be required for reimbursement. If your puppy is found to be medically deficient with an untreatable or life-threatening problem it must be reported to the seller immediately. A report concerning the puppy’s health issues will be required from your vet. If it is necessary for the puppy to be put down or that death is inevitable in its near future, a puppy or dog of equal value of the breeders choice will be provided as a replacement, as one becomes available. This puppy is guaranteed against hip, elbow or hereditary disorders for one year from time of purchase. If puppy is found to have a medically deficient or life threatening problem that is related to hereditary defects, an extensive report from your vet will be required to exchange your puppy for another one of equal value of the breeder’s choice, when one becomes available. This guarantee only applies to hereditary health issues. Accidents or exposure to diseases etc. are not covered as I would have no control over these factors. Your new puppy has received shots as stated in health record. All puppies should receive vaccinations at age 8 weeks, 11 weeks, and 14 weeks. See your vet for further details. Typically the vaccination shots these puppies receive contain: Canine Distemper, Adenovirus Type 2, Parainfluenz, and Parvovirus. Puppies usually receive two doses of worming medication According to my knowledge puppies are not fully protected from the diseases they are vaccinated for until all vaccinations are complete. Therefore it is wise to limit their exposure to other pets and even parks until they have received all three shots. If you ever sell or part with this dog you are contracting to notify me of where the puppy has gone and why. Please do not allow unwanted pregnancies remember spaying and neutering are the easiest way. By signing this contract I am giving my permission for the seller (Pingree’s home business, L.L.C.) to use any and all pictures of the puppy/dog I am purchasing (including any pictures I may send or give to them.) and any testimonial I may give about ownership of this dog or puppy, on their website or in any form of advertising without any special recognition or monetary gain being given to me or the photographer. Sorry, NO CASH REFUNDS, on complete payments or on deposits. The only exception is if a deposit is received before the litter is born and there are no puppies born of the color and / or sex you requested. Color_______________________ Sex_______.
